Spring Update- Photo News

I have been lucky enough to pick up some sweet new clients in the last few months, most notably: The Orange County Museum of Art (image on right), K-Swiss, NAMCO and Nintendo Wii (check the new Wii Ski box for one of my photos!) and Royal Elastics shoes.

Next week I will be helping out Stephen Wilkes with his 5 day workshop at the Palm Springs Photo Festival and hanging with some awesome photographers. After that is the music tour with Raining Jane (see below) so I'm off for most of April but will check back in soon with more updates!

Spring Update- Editorial

ISM Magazine's spring issue is coming out on March 29th! They're having a magazine release party complete with a photo booth and gallery, and you can buy a copy of the mag w/ a bunch of my photos (nick from Torsion fabrics featured above). Check the website for details.

Other recent photos of mine have been published in The L.A. Times, Scion Magazine, and Juxtapoz Magazine, along with a classic 30 ft billboard by USC with Josh Temkin's design and Seth Brown's ad slogan for Conquest Housing.

Spring Update- Music

Spring Music News-
Raining Jane's new CD is out! We shot this CD cover in my studio a while back and it's great to see it come out along w/ the beautiful music inside. You can pick up a copy here: I will be heading back out on tour w/ Raining Jane, Sara Bareilles and Rachael Yamagata in mid April so keep an eye out for those photos.

San Diego based bill just dropped a sweet album as well. You can buy it on their website and see a slide show of photos from our recent promo shoot wandering around the city.

3/2 Engagement Photos- Sabrina and Chris

We headed to Griffith Park for Chris and Sabrina's engagement photos along with a gentle horse and their ridiculously cute dog. We definitely had fun and the animals were well behaved. Look for wedding photos in Sept!

3/1 School Fundraiser

After the Iditarod I raced over to a nearby hotel to shoot a nice fundraiser for Craig and 575 Productions. It was somewhat tame in comparison to the Iditarod, but still good times.

3/1 L.A. Urban Iditarod

2/3 Oprah rally @ UCLA

In an emotional Obama rally at Pauley Pavilion in UCLA, Caroline Kennedy gave opening remarks, followed by a great speech by Oprah, some powerful words by Michelle Obama, and surprise appearances by Stevie Wonder and Maria Shriver who both received thunderous applause. Janelle and I volunteered for the campaign and I took these photos while there.

2/2 OCMA gallery opening

The Orange County Museum of Art had a really cool gallery open Saturday called "Disorderly Conduct." Friend (and ISM editor) Kevin Staniec works for them now and I am hopefully going to shoot their next two openings as well. Slide Show:

1/31 Royal Elastic's Party

After wrapping up a 5 day production job on for a Lord and Taylor ad campaign I drove straight to Main Street for the grand opening of Royal Elastic shoes. Obama even made an appearance at this party! Slide show:

1/26 ISM Gallery Opening Photo Booth

ISM now has a sweet gallery in Long Beach where many of the magazine's featured artists are able to showcase their work. We set up a photo booth and I photographed everyone on their way into the opening. Slide show:
