11/22 Rony's Photo Booth closing party (@ Royal on Main)

After 16 hours working on location I rolled to Royal on Main to cover the closing party for Rony's PhotoBooth. Giant pandas, fire engines and stretchers, DJ's, dancing, free drinks. Just your typical Saturday night. Check it all out here (and happy thanksgiving also. we all have something to be thankful for so it's good to take a moment and reflect. and thanks to Sarah Palin for pushing the vegetarian cause with her recent brutal/strange interview).

11/8 Scion Art Gallery- Big Geezers

Big Geezers was by the far the craziest and most carnival-like Scion gallery opening yet. There were flying darts popping balloons, nerf guns, spinning wheels of fortune, a welcoming party for the early guests, and as always a good DJ and free drinks. See for yourself here: The photos are also featured on Vimby.com.

10/25 California Biennial for OCMA

The Orange County Museum of Art had their Biennial opening celebration last weekend, with all kinds of interactive art and artists as well as DJ's, food and a fun afterparty. Above Daniel Joseph Martinez' animatronic self portrait leaps to life with full body convulsions, causing some older OCMA patrons to yell to their significant others, "Is he alive? Honey, DO SOMETHING!"
