brand x magazine sent me to the machine project's 'eat bug eat' event friday night in echo park. it was a surreal experience to see all the live worms and larvae and the people who came to eat them. i sampled a few fried bugs myself, with my favorite being the worm that tasted just like bacon. check the online article here and the full gallery on latimes.com. also check your nearby newsstands for the latest brand x issue!
